Nausheen Ali Sardar will promote and host the soon-to-be re-launched Lehren, the ’90s show that focused on news from the Hindi film world.

The actress is all geared up and is totally elated about the new project. She confirms, “This serial will use a technology which is first-of-its-kinds. What’s important is that it will cater to specific television channels in the US, UK and Indonesia where Hindi films are very popular.”

Mritunjay Pande is the brainchild behind the project. Speaking on Nausheen’s role, he says, “She is the face, host and entity who will be synonymous with Lehren.

She will make appearances on the videos and will also be present to endorse our show with the alliances and the tieups with media houses.” What’s unique about this, is that it will not remain confined to television.

“Apart from the hour-long shows on TV, there will also be a video portal where you can download songs, short clips of 30, 60 and 90 seconds on cellphones and IP TV as well. It will primarily have Bollywood content,” says Pande.

Of course, Lehren’s substantial archives will also be a big help.
